A couple weeks ago, some friends and I launched a new website called sndchck. We built it during the Music Hack Day in NY. It’s a simple way to remember or share new bands via twitter. Shortly after launching we received some very nice attention from Mashable. I’m very proud of what we were able to accomplish as a team in such a short time period, and am excited to see where the idea goes.

To check out the app you can just tweet:
State Bird @sndchck

Then log into sndchck.com and you’ll see a ‘State Bird’ playlist. Repeat with any artist you want.

If you want to share music with a friend you can use this format:
@rickyrobinett Mac Lethal @sndchck

Then when your friend logs in they’ll have whatever artist you recommended added to their playlist.
